ISLAMIC LEARNING PROGRAM (ILP)
Nine Month Program
Taught by Alimah Sobia Hasan
Medium of Instruction: English
Starting Wednesday, 16th August 2017
The ILP is a unique nine-month, learning-centered program designed to develop a deeper understanding of the Qur’an and to reflect upon the comprehensive and profound wisdom contained in the Sunnah. It is specifically tailor-made for working/professional women and students who would like to advance their Islamic learning as a way to both grow in their Islamic knowledge and deepen their faith, but who are unable to commit to a full-time study of the classical Islamic disciplines. The program consists of three specialized classes, dedicated to an in-depth study of the Qur’an (last juzz), hadith and the science of spiritual purification – all taught in a manner that is intellectually stimulating, spiritually uplifting and particularly sensitive to contemporary times.
The program also serves as a foundation for anyone who wishes to further her study of the classical Islamic disciplines.
Students have the option to attend all (preferable) or any of the three classrooms that comprise the program (i.e., Qur’an, hadith and spiritual purification).
